BRUCE MARSHALL AND EVAN GOODROW CELEBRATE
WITH BEACHFIRE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BeachFire Bar & Grille will be celebrating
one year during the weekend of June 1 & 2 and announces two musical
legends to help in the celebration. Renowned blues master Bruce Marshall
will be performing live at BeachFire on Friday, June 1. The party
continues on June 2 with the soul-singing, blues guitar-playing powerhouse,
Evan Goodrow.
Bruce Marshall has been performing to rave
reviews since the 80’s. He treats his fans to a soaring ride as he
rips through a catalogue of original material that truly sets him apart.
Bruce writes and creates melodies that stay with you after the first listen.
His infectious energy on stage sets the tone for the live show and keeps
his crowds always coming back for more, giving his all for every single
performance. Marshall is known as a powerful and expressive vocalist who
sings with emotion and conviction, whether it's an all out rave up or a
sensitive ballad.
In recent years, an ever expanding fan
base has led Evan Goodrow to tirelessly tour the Northeast, branching out
from the Boston area where he began his musical career. But no matter where
he is playing, on any given night Evan Goodrow can be found transporting
fans from Preservation Hall New Orleans, to the crossroads of delta blues,
to a full out Philadelphia funk festival. One fan recently likened Evan
Goodrow and his band to “a case-study in musical diversity.”
“It’s supposed to feel good, and nothing
made me feel as good as the soul music I was raised on as a child,” Goodrow
states emphatically “Soul music is feel good music by definition. When
you hear old Motown classics, or even just when that rhythm hits you, you
can’t help but smile. And that’s the feeling I want to bring to people
with my music.”
During this weekend celebration, BeachFire
Bar & Grille will be celebrating one full year of bringing live entertainment
to Ogunquit. “Ogunquit has needed BeachFire for a long time; This
place has quickly become the area’s most popular nightspot – great food,
live music and that beautiful fire! It is great that we don’t have
to go to Portsmouth or Portland to find such a great place” states a regular
at BeachFire, Dave Brown.
“With the recent addition of our state-of-the-art
sound system, BeachFire is becoming a venue for jazz and blues and attracting
regulars from Connecticut to Portland” states Doherty. “The key to
our success is definitely our dedicated staff and great chef, Luis Gello.
We are proud of our achievements during our first year – and looking forward
to a bright future with continued success. We hope that all will
come out and help us celebrate The BeachFire on June 1 & 2!”
